At the 2012 WOW (World of Wipes) conference in Chicago from June 5-7 – Dow Chemical announced that it is now making its Rhoplex Econext acrylic binders available for the North American hygiene and medical market. Adrian Wilson reports from Chicago. This series of low and ultra-low formaldehyde binders allows companies to manufacture end-use nonwoven products with minimal levels of formaldehyde and comply with the industry’s most stringent standards.
