The Freudenberg Group – which has just posted record turnover of over €6 billion – has developed a new technology platform for applications such as surgery, wound treatment and regenerative medicine – bioresorbable nonwovens for medical applications. The company’s Scaffolene technology is used to produce 3D scaffolds from natural or synthetic biopolymers.
